I met a really sharp young man today. I was up at Davidson College practicing some moves on my motorcycle, ( I’m sure the wrong way) and they are simple moves. I do the S curves and figure eights on the empty parking spots. I practice stopping fast. The hardest thing I do is stand up on the pegs and stay mobile slowly. That trick took many years of knee(s) therapy.
Out of the corner of my eye I spy a NOVA! The Nova was all by herself. I circled her a few times. Then Security showed up and asked me if I wanted him to move it. Jonathan from Security happened to own the car! I said no, but would love to photograph the car. Jonathan is 29 years old and has been across the country four times. He served our country. He has a classic car collection I hope to get to shoot sometime .
He cranked her up and told me her name but I forgot. Her name starts with an R like all his red cars!

Today is 20250620. I was telling Jonathan that I had a little difficulty removing reflections in windows or people’s glasses. But when I got home to edit the photos there was an adobe update specifically for reflections. I made one work. The other I left as is.

Jonathan is not embarrassed by imperfections in his classics. He is re-building as he can
