Obituary

“Henry Lee Lowder, known by most as Lee, age 65, of Salisbury, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Born on December 3, 1956, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Lowder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dean Lowder.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Tammy Lowder, his daughter Charley Teague (Todd), his son Chris Lowder (Kaitlyn), two grandchildren, Eli Teague and Everly Teague, his sister Jo Cavin (Allen), and his sister-in-law, Vickie Lowder.

Lee had many loves in life aside from his family, including baseball, Duke basketball, fishing, and his two dogs Samson and Baxter. He also enjoyed singing for the Lord, being part of two groups, The Faithkeepers and 4 His Glory.

Visitation: 12:00-1:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.

Service: 1:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines, conducted by Nathan Hammill of Open Door Baptist Church and Paul Crisco of Samaritan Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude’s as Lee held the organization dear to his heart.

Usually on Facebook when I get a group request or friend request by a drop dead Gorgeous young girl I’ll look at the profile and promptly report the account. But then I noticed this lady was hanging out with Henry! Then I figured this must be his daughter.
