Oak Tree by Shane K Smith

I was out on a country ride near RCR Racing when I spotted a group looking at a 200 year old Oak Tree. One of the cuts is at least five feet across.

The lady in the group was already interested in purchasing the wood so I wouldn’t wait.

The above photos can be clicked on one by one to enlarge them. However, I reduced them by 40 times to help me afford web space. The adobe link below is in full resolution and the photos are downloadable. These people were really nice and let me step right in to shoot. This tree lived on their big farm for 200 years.
