“Ivan Lowery’s passing at the age of 63 on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 has been publicly announced by CLARK FUNERAL HOME – Kannapolis in Kannapolis, NC.
According to the funeral home, the following services have been scheduled: Visitation, on March 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., ending at 12:00 p.m., at Bethel Baptist Church Ministries, 2474 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC. Funeral service, on March 27, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., at Bethel Baptist Church Ministries, 2474 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC.

Rev. Ivan Wayne Lowery, 63, of N. Main Street, Kannapolis, NC answered his heavenly Father’s call on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the Atrium Health Cabarrus Northeast.
He was born April 24, 1959, in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Robert L. Lowery and the late Willene Harris Lowery.
Rev. Lowery was educated in the Rowan County Public School System and was a graduate of South Rowan High School, Wingate University, and Interdenominational Theological Center. He lovingly served as Pastor to Cameron Presbyterian Church, Statesville, NC, Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, Woodleaf, NC; Mocksville Second Presbyterian Church, Mocksville, NC; Trinity Presbyterian Church, Dayton, Ohio; and Bethpage Presbyterian Church, Concord, NC. Rev. Lowery served on an enormous number of committees, clubs, and organizations.
Services will be held Monday, March 27, at Bethel Baptist Church, 2474 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 12:00 PM with funeral services at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife, Sheryl R. Lowery of the home; a daughter Miranda N. Lowery of Greensboro, NC; one sister Golanda Spencer of Landis, NC; one brother Robert Urell Lowery of Kannapolis, NC; three aunts Georgia Harris of Landis, NC; Marie Lowery of China Grove, NC and Betty Anthony Harris of Kannapolis, NC; father-in-law and mother -in-law Luther and Loretta Robinson of Kannapolis, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
