Mark D. Lowder
“LANDIS – Mr. Mark Douglas Lowder, 53, of Zion Street, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Kannon Creek Assisted Living in Kannapolis.
Mr. Lowder was born Sept. 8, 1957, in Cabarrus County. He was a son of Irene Elwood Lowder and the late Jack Eugene Lowder. He worked for Fieldcrest Cannon Mills in the Heating and Air Conditioning Department. He attended First Baptist Church in Kannapolis.
Mr. Lowder, in addition to his mother, is survived by brother, Jeffrey Lowder of Salisbury.
Services: A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Norman Brisson will officiate. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Lady’s Funeral Home.
Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 222 S. Church St., Charlotte, NC 28202 or to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
