“Vickie Conner Obituary

Vickie Beaver Conner, 61, formerly of Salisbury, passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Born on Jan. 15, 1955 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Homer Ray “Bill” and Irene Beaver. Educated in the Rowan County School system, she worked as a chiropractic assistant and homemaker, and was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and fishing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Blaine Conner; her long-time companion, Freddy Dean Stanley; and her brother, Harold Ray “Buster” Beaver. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Kevin Chane Conner (Bobbi) of Salisbury; her daughters, Shona Hamby (Chris) of Concord and Stacy Cline (Chris) of Cleveland; her sisters, Betty Brown and Sharon Kerr (Danny), both of Salisbury; and four grandchildren, Torri and Kevin Conner and Krysten and Katie Cline. Visitation & Service: Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, with the funeral also at the funeral home on Sunday, Jan. 15 at 2: p.m. Pastor Chris Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.linnhoneycuttfuneralhome.com.”
