Terry Truesdale’s passing at the age of 62 on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 has been publicly announced by CLARK FUNERAL HOME – Kannapolis in Kannapolis, NC.

According to the funeral home, the following services have been scheduled: Visitation, on September 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., ending at 2:00 p.m., at Living Water A Church of God, 166 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC. Funeral service, on September 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., at Living Water A Church of God, 166 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC.

Terry Bernard Truesdale, 62, of Mason Ave, Chester, VA departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at his residence. He was born September 28, 1959, in Iredell County, NC to the late Luja Hedrick and the late Nina Mae Truesdale McCullough.

Terry was educated in the Rowan County School System and was a graduate of South Rowan High School.  He was formerly employed with Phillip Morris.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Living Water Church of God, 166 N. Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Visitation will be 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM with services at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lula Mae Truesdale; a brother, Tony Truesdale; a niece, Shamika Truesdale.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, two daughters, Markita Smith of Kannapolis, NC, Tia Mills of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, John Bankhead, IV, Jamal Smith; four sisters, Cindy Truesdale, Benita Truesdale and Felicia Truesdale all of Kannapolis, NC, Audrey Hawkins (Nehemiah) of Salisbury, NC; one brother, Jimmy L. McCullough, Jr. of Kannapolis, NC; one aunt, Mildred Smith of Landis, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
