Lynn Drye Trester

R.I.P.

“Lynn Drye Trester, age 62, of Salisbury, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Lynn was born December 19, 1958 in Rowan County and was the daughter of the Late Carl Drye and Naomi Holcombe Drye. She was a graduate of South Rowan High School. Lynn loved going to horse shows and riding her paint horses and walking horses. During her working career, she most recently worked as a pharmacy technician and also as a caregiver. She particularly loved to go to the drag races with her husband John and being with her family of which she loved very much.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother Chris Drye. In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 29 years, John Trester, her step son Christopher Trester (Heather), daughter Natalie Michele Trester and step daughther Rosie Trester. Also surviving her is her brother John A. Drye (Leslie) as well as her grandchildren; Carl Leonard Seaford, Hunter Ellis Seaford, Giovani Trester and Lilly Trester.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.”

Lynn Trester I am John Lynn’s husband our daughter Natalie and I are overwhelmed by all the kind words people have spoken about Lynn not only the folks that Shane has touched but all the cats in the racing community some I don’t know by name but I would by site she has always been a people person she never met a stranger and was always willing to give a helping hand just one of the many things I LOVED about her all her many many friends in the walking horse industry and the paint horse industry she was loved by so so many and our race team Jeremy Jerrod Jake James Russ Ron all the people who knew her loved her and she was a great supporter always crackin the whip YOU GUYS CAN DO IT she will be missed greatly I would like to thank you Shane for all you have done and Jeremy for all you did for her I will LOVE HER till my dying day 💔
